Three of our dedicated Directors left the Board of Directors. Dr. Suzanne Ripley completed her term limit of six years. John Oyhenart and Jan Siegfried had to resign to devote more time to their jobs. We thank them for their dedication and service.

Ruth Bedell and Warren Hynes have joined the Board. Ruth teaches Spanish and SAT preparation in Fairfax County schools. She also teaches 40 piano and voice students at her home and she likes to work with children in dance and drama. Ruth plays the organ at two churches. Warren has been involved in public accounting for many years. Following a successful Federal Government career he was a "principal" with the accounting firm of Anderson & Hynes. During the past 15 years Warren has done part-time accounting and consulting work, including serving as treasurer and assistant treasurer for the Lifetime Learning Institute (affiliated with NVCC-Annandale).
